Using MECODES for multi PCB collaboration.
ECAD engineer creates a camera module for Arduino PCB in Allegro and sends a baseline describing PCB design structure. MCAD engineer prepares a new project for camera module. Once a baseline is imported, camera module design will be verified against collision with any other electrical or mechanical objects. Camera module baseline from Allegro will now be imported to CATIA. Camera module is imported successfully. PCB will first be positioned to a designated place. MCAD engineer now has a great overview of PCBs position in 3D space. A capacitor seem to be colliding with Arduino’s microcontroller. MCAD engineer can fix this in a few clicks. However, this change will have to be approved by ECAD engineer. Proposal file will be sent to an exchange folder. ECAD engineer inspects and accepts this change for camera module. MCAD engineer now imports the response. The issue is resolved and further improvements can be developed.
